HAIR

What is your hair like?
Each strand is thin, but I have a lot of it! It's naturally curly but I straighten it with a flat iron.

How would you describe your haircut?
Unique with a slightly punk look.

Do you have any haircolor?
Yes, I've colored my hair since I was in my early teens. Platinum has always been my thing.

You have a great length. Do you prefer it shorter or longer?
I've had my hair down to my waist and shorter than Rod Stewart's. Even though my hair has been long most of my life, I find that it's easier to deal with it short and feels more "me."

What's your favorite way to wear your hair?
My favorite way to wear my hair is spiky. I style it with a flat iron and a lot of product -- hairspray, wax, grease, etc.

How good are you at styling your own hair?
I always do it myself so I can either take the praise or the blame.

What are the steps you usually take on a day when you're not working?
A hat is my best friend!

Describe a good hair day and a bad hair day.
A good hair day is the day after I wash it because it's calmed down a little and a bad hair day is the day I wash it because it's hard to manage. My remedy is to keep putting product in it so that it will work.

If you could have any hairstyle or haircolor for a day, what would you do?
I think it would be so fun to shave my head for a day! It seems like it would feel so empowering!

What is your one must-have hair product?
Shaper Mega Hold hair spray!

MAKEUP

What's your favorite feature to play up with makeup?
Dramatic eyes - lots of liner, lots of mascara, dark eyeshadows.

What's the best makeup trick you've learned that everyone should know?
A little white shimmery powder on the top of your cheekbones makes your whole face glow.

What are your favorite eyeshadow or lip colors?
I use a lot of dark purples and blacks on my eyes. I like Underage pink lipgloss by M.A.C.

What's your can't-live-without-it beauty item?
M.A.C. concealer to cover up the one or two blemishes before I run out the door.

FASHION

Describe your fashion style.
It changes day to day, but for the most part, funky rocker, and anything with cowboy boots.

Where do you like to shop?
Sundays are all about shopping at the Fairfax flea market because it's all one-of-a-kind items.

What have you bought recently that you can't wait to wear?
My Steve Madden brown leather cowboy boots are my new favorite "steal."

CAREER

With a background in singing, acting and hosting on TV, what's your favorite part about what you do?
That I get paid to have fun!

What about your career is something you're really looking forward to? What's the hardest part?
I'm really looking forward to completing my pop/rock album with Diane Warren. The hardest part is that it takes so long and if I ever had to be away from my sister, I'd die!

Do people recognize you on the street? What's the one question they always ask? What's the answer?
Yes, but not so much in Los Angeles because everybody's somebody here. The question they always ask is, "Are you still friends with some of the other contestants from American Idol?" And the answer is, "Of course! I love me some velvet teddy bear!"

PERSONAL

When you have a spare moment, what do you like to do?
To relax, I pay my late fees at Hollywood Video while I pick up 5 or 6 new movies that I'll watch with my sister and roommate, back-to-back, and order a large stuffed crust pizza. To go wild and fun, I like to have all my girls over early, get all glammed up, go out to all of the Hollywood hot spots and dance the night away.

What would we be surprised to know about you?
That I have five little sisters! Four that live in Texas and one that shares a home with me in Los Angeles.

How do you juggle work and romance?
I love staying busy with work because it's always a new adventure, but I've always been a little boy-crazy and I guess you could call me a hopeless romantic, so I always wind up making time for Mr. Wrong.

Who do you love to spend time with?
My occasional trip to Texas is my favorite time because I get to spend it with my mom and sisters. And, of course, my supposed miniature Yorkie, Sammy, who now weighs 20lbs.

How would your friends and family describe you?
Very impulsive, very crazy, very out of control, very generous, very me!

How would you describe yourself?
Very impulsive, very crazy, very out of control, very generous, very me!

QUICKIES!!!

Favorite movie?
The Notebook, duh! That's why I haven't given up on love yet.

Favorite CD?
Believe it or not, Kelly Clarkson's.

Favorite book?
He's Just Not That Into You

Zodiac sign?
Pisces.

Favorite color?
Black.

What you'll be doing later today?
Picking up firewood for a bonfire and barbecue later tonight.

What you're looking forward to the most in 2006?
Breaking up Angelina and Mr. Pitt and being Brad's new love interest.
